Woven polypropylene is one of the newer packaging materials available. It is strong, recyclable and cost effective.
Please be aware that not all woven polypropylene bags are alike. Yarn count (the number of yarns woven per square inch) and denier (the weight of the yarn) can vary greatly from bag to bag and the effect on bag strength can be significant.
Generally, woven poly bags are made in two ways, circular woven and L sewn. The tops are either heat cut or hemmed. One style of manufacture is not necessarily better than another. Your own needs and preferences can determine what suits you the best.
At Corman all of our woven polypropylene bags are designed to reduce slippage. Most of our bags are circular woven with a hem top. Standard bag construction is 10 x 10, 850 denier.

The newest development in woven polypropylene is extrusion coating the fabric. This coating adds strength and rigidity to the bag as well as making it dust tight and protecting the product form moisture. The extrusion coating process also makes it possible to convert this material into a valve bag.
